Does my insurance cover all my costs for medical equipment?
The answer is... sometimes. However, there are many variables including the type of insurance you have, if you have secondary insurance and if those deductibles have been met, etc.
Our highly trained insurance specialists will break down the cost for you and thoroughly explain each point. If needed, we can set up a payment plan for you, or alternatively, we have financing available through Care Credit.
What is my deductible and co-pay?
Except for Medicare, every insurance's deductible amount is different. Medicare's 2022 deductible is $233, with a 20% co-pay. Co-pays can be different as well, but most insurances have a 20% co-pay.
Why has my doctor ordered this equipment?
Based upon a diagnosis that we received on the prescription sent to us, we can provide a broad explanation, but it is recommended that you contact your doctor for specifics.
Do you come to my home to set up or deliver supplies?
If a patient has been ordered to have oxygen, yes we do. In other cases, unless the patient is homebound, we ask that you come to one of our three locations where we can customize our in-house equipment to your needs. Alternatively, we will be happy to ship to your home at an additional charge.
Why should I come to your office versus buying my equipment online?
Medical equipment is best purchased at a local DME (Durable Medical Equipment) store where specially trained personnel can provide you with the highest quality of care, answer your related questions and be available for additional support if needed.
Are your prices cheaper than your competitors?
If billing through insurance, those insurances dictate to us what they will pay us, the provider. This is called an "allowable", so no one DME is less expensive than another.
